Captain Ethan has guided fishing excursions all the way from Tampa Bay down to the Florida Keys, showcasing his extensive knowledge of the region’s waters. Fishing has always been a genuine passion of his, and he truly enjoys employing a variety of fishing techniques throughout the year. This allows him to target the wide range of fish species that inhabit the west coast of Florida. While he primarily uses live bait, there are occasions when he prefers cut bait or artificial lures to increase his chances of success. Understanding fishing as a science, Ethan approaches each targeted fish species with the proper techniques necessary to achieve the best possible results. Over the past 30+ years of fishing, he has discovered many secret locations within our local waterways and is excited to share these hidden gems with you, ensuring your time on the water is both productive and memorable, just like a true local.

Raised fishing and diving off Anna Maria Island and throughout the Tampa Bay area, Ethan is a charter captain who loves sharing his passion with others while educating them about Florida’s beautiful and diverse local wildlife. His credentials include being a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, PADI Master Scuba Diving Trainer, Emergency First Responder Instructor, and a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain holding a 25-ton license. He began fishing at the age of two with his father and started scuba diving around age twelve, also alongside his father. Becoming a PADI scuba diving professional has been a lifelong dream for Ethan, sparked from the very first moment he took a breath underwater. If he’s not scuba diving, you can find him out fishing until the sun dips below the horizon.
